Eats!: The Wingyard (unlimited chicken wings)

What's better than having a plate full of savory chicken wings? That is to have more plates of this luscious meal! Yes you got it right! I'm talking about unlimited chicken wings.

A new bistro has opened today, (October 28 2018) and they offer unlimited chicken wings and rice. You have 10 delectable flavors of chicken wings to choose from. This new food paradise is called "Wingyard". It is located on the third floor of the Leonard Wood Terraces (The newly built mall in front of the Teacher's camp) in the city of Baguio.

Here's a sample of their menu:

We personally tried 5 of their 10 flagship flavors which are Aglio Parmesan, Pesto Lover, Cheesy Dynamite, Zombie wings and the hottest wing of all the Wingyard's the red reaper.

The criteria:

Just like before, I give ratings to the restaurant/food based on these 6 criterias.
(These are just my personal review).

1. Serving Method & Presentation
(Fresh and colorful, easy to eat , the temperature, stylistic but practical)

2. Portion Size
Do I need to explain this? LOL

3. Menu and Ingredients Compatibility
(Do the recipe ingredients compliment each other?)

4. Creativity and Practicality
(Is the dish creative?, Showing something new or an old idea modernized?)

5. Flavor, Taste, Texture & Doneness

6. The Place
(the overall ambiance of the place, Is the seats comfortable and presentable?)

THE WINGYARD
Rating:8.1/10

- The serving method was good, very minimalist and practical. It would be better if they will toss the chicken wings with the sauce so that every part of it will be covered. Overall, the presentation was okay.

- decent amount of portions were served. (9 pieces of wings with 3 different flavors)

- I think the cohesiveness of the ingredients is wonderful. I can taste the harmony of flavors and the chicken meat.  I personally liked the cheesy dynamite (it was creamy with a bit of a kick) and the aglio parmesan (cheesy and a little bit garlicky).

- The overall creativeness of the plating is something that can be worked on (since they've just started).

- The texture of the chicken was perfect. It's juicy and not overcooked.

- Considering the fact that some parts of the mall are still being furnished and that they've just started, I think the overall design and concept of the bistro is smart. It's simple, rustic and elegant because of the predominantly black and gold colors.

The City of Baguio is indeed a heaven not only for tourist and nature lovers but also for foodies.
