Hydro Falls!

I've been living in Baguio City for quite long but I haven't heard of a waterfall near the city. After a friend recommended the place to me, I quickly jumped from my seat and clear my schedule for the weekend to give way for this expedition. It was my first time to see a very nice and clear waterfalls. It's pristine and cold water will surely attract everyone to swim (but not me because I don't know how to swim LOL)

Total Budget
Jeepney Fare roundtrip    Php 35.00
Food                                 Php 200.00

Total                                Php 235.00

Practically you will only spend 35 pesos for the whole adventure (if you are from/coming from Baguio City) for the food you can buy that or even prepare one before you leave your home.

Here's how we got there:

1. From Baguio City, take a jeepney going to Camp 6. The terminal is behind Jollibee in Harrison Road. You can ask the driver to drop you to Hydro. The fare is Php 17.50 each.

2. You will see this sign and you have to cross the hanging bridge

3. You'll see a short trail and some houses as you go through your way to the river.

4. Soon, you have to make your own trail, just follow the river upstream and you'll get there. Be careful, there are many rocks as big as a human and some of it is quite slippery.

5. The trekking will last for about 30 minutes to one hour. You don't need a tour guide.

6. After 30 minutes, you'll see this majestic falls.!

A video about the whole trail we had is on my Youtube Channel and will also be posted here.
